I'm thinking of getting another clam. I have a squamosa, and it's doing well. I recently made some changes to my rockwork and i'm left with ledge near the top of my tank.

The issue i'm concerned with is having too much water flow since the ledge is close to my overflow. So, how much flow is too much?

I've got plenty of light, and my parameters are good and stable.

As long as the mantle isn't flapping in the breeze it should be fine...keep in mind that clams like to orientate themselves with the flow so it might turn away from what you think is the optimal viewing angle.
