I fragged the Tyree LE Rainbow Monti again today, this time to a rock chip on a plug. Hope it will be ready by the auction, but its not a fast grower( would be in your tank though, lol)

Ask Frank how many in Arizona next time you talk to him. If it takes you can have it, you give me plenty of frags.

It grows so slow that with inflation I'd owe you money before the bidding ended. Curious to see how it does in Ed's Reef, it a beautiful coral.

hey guys i got a fast Q. What is all this i see about Tyree LE. I been seeing it more and more around RC and have no idea what it is lol. And do any of u guys have a good fraging tut vid? I would like to frag some zoas and maybe my orgon pipe for the auction. and some GSP.

Do a search for Steve Tyree, Frag Farmers, to find out about him/Limited editions. Fragging Zoos is easy, wear gloves and goggles, razor cut between polyps and try to dremmel a little of the rock to use as a starter attachment. If you can't do that cut between polyps and peel off rock, put in glass or plastic dish with rubble (I like Pyrex desert cups), rubber band fish net over top. Place in a low flow area, so turbulence does not keep moving Zoo's so the can attach to rubble. Or just rubber band Zoo's to rock, but I think that's a pain. Wash hands, tools and cutting surfaces and don't let the dog lick anything, can be toxic. Pipe Organ is easy but you have to be careful since its so fragile, exacto knife or dremmel between tubes to minimize loss/damage. GSP just peel off, find a smooth of the rock they are attached to or it can be a pain. Zoo's and GSP's are best trained on rock chips placed next to colony so they spread on to it, the just separate and go. I think a few of us will be doing demos of various techniques at the get together for those interested. Don't forget to vote in the poll so we can get a more accurate head count.
