Crosshatch and Trigger Owners - How To Treat

Hey guys,

Just got my small Crosshatch Trigger pair in yesterday.

First flight got delayed, so they were in the bags a little long.

I noticed the female looks a little rough, some red patches on the back of her body and also a darkish mark on her top back fin.

How should I proceed with treatment?

I had planned to do Prazi (2x) and then start ramping up Cupramine during Prazi.

Should I treat with something like Paraguard? Maybe just ammonia burn?

Here's a video:

Thanks guys!

BTW: Was bought from a collector, only place I could find small pairs.

Any ideas guys?

They're eating like pigs.

Even ate the Dr G's anti-parasitic food I had laying around.

Should I just go ahead with Prazi then Cupramine (low dosage).

Anything showing that should make me treat with different medication?

don't take my word for it but i always heard here on RC that prazi and cupramine mixed together was highly toxic for fish. Check with some of the experts on here, i might certainly be wrong but would hate to see you lose these fish.

Thanks :)

Decided to go the ParaGuard route. Seems like a better all around preventive treatment. Just need to do it everyday for 3 to 4 weeks.

The fin on the Female looks a bit worse, so I want to make sure it's not fin rot or bacteria, so started ParaGuard before doing Prazi.

Might also be a nip from the male, but haven't seen any aggression.
