Just curious as to why you list the crosshatch trigger shown in the divers den as being non-reef safe. Is it because they can become somewhat destructive through careless swimming patterns and knock over corals?
Thank you for your post. The Crosshatch Triggerfish is not reef safe because it will eat corals and other invertebrates that are found in a reef aquarium.
Thank you for your post. We apologize for our confusion. We have double-checked with our director, and the Crosshatch Trigger is safe with sessile invertebrates, such as corals. It is only motile invertebrates, such as crustaceans, that would be at risk.
