After taking the advice of several folks on this forum and reading a variety of literature, especially all the great articles at marine aquarium advice.com, I can not determine what the differentiating factor is between Crypto and Amyloo.
The descriptions seem similar enough that they could be easily confused. This would not be an issue, but one of the other articles on fish disease treatment options indicated that hypo QT does NOT work on Amyloo.
So, I have been using the hypo treatment for nearly a week, but now if I can't readily tell the difference between the diseases, obviously my three sick fish will continue to deteriorate.
Any expertise on this would be appreciated.
