Cryptocaryon trophont stage

How long can the trophont stage last? I thought on average about a week. Just wondering if I have ich or not. I found 2 white dots on my firefish about 2weeks ago and they are still there. Fish doesnt seem bothered at all and doing just fine. Anything else it can be? Going to try and get some pics when I get home.

Two weeks more than likely to long for this stage a few days at most I believe. Could be the viral attack that looks like cotton balls-can't think of the name at the moment. If so is not harmful to the fish but may take some time befor they disappear.
