CTARS Tour of reefs??

So after seeing Cato's tank (again, that is some amazing stuff), Jeff mentioned that Jason (VP) would like to get a tour together this late summer/fall. There was willingness from a few to have people at their house to see their tank, and interest from many for drinking beer and watching fishes. :)

Those then willing to host at a future date were (in no specific order):

Yasmar01
Tank o tang
Fishkid6692

Are you still up for it, does anyone want to be added to the list to host? Remember, you don't need a 35,000 gallon true to life, exact scale replica, of well, anything. If you have something interesting, different, or just "mundane" you can get in on it.

I like the idea of it. It seems that keeping the tour in the same area for the day would be a good bet too. I am sure I am in the same predicament as some of you have mentioned. I only keep a 29 gallon reef so there wouldn't be much to look at.

This is an awesome idea and brings up a good point....having the tour in one part of the state. I always enjoy hanging out with everyone at meetings but haven't been to any in a while because they are always so far away from the shoreline! The Bobs meetings, Fin and Feather, Justin's house a few years ago were all a great time. Its just tough to get to all the events when they are far away! I think this idea may bring more local people together that normally wouldn't make an attempt to get to an event. I live in a condo so unfortunately can't host, but would love to help cook, setup, or just drink your beer at one in the greater New Haven area! Defiinitely count me in if we have one down in this half of the state!
