CUC additions for 55G....

I am thinking of adding some hermits to my cleanup crew. I have been getting a buildup of debris on the crushed coral that I didn't seem to get before.

I have a Banded Coral Shrimp, a cleaner shrimp, 1 turbo snail, and a couple misc. snails.

Would a couple of hermits be a good addition?

Scarlet Hermits can be a good addition.

Would I need to be concerned about the Banded Coral Shrimp and the hermits? He doesn't bother the cleaner shrimp at all.

You won't have to worry about the CBS. Mine never bothers my hermit crabs.

Id add different types of snails. Astrea, tubo, nassarius, cerith and possibly some blue legged hermits.

He may eventually start to bother the cleaner they have been known to get along fine and then the CBS just eats the cleaner.

I believe I have a pistol shrimp in there somewhere based on the clicking noise so I haven't added more snails. The population seems to be decreasing by about 1 snail a month.

I was hoping the CBS would take care of the pistol for me, but no luck yet. I have also tried trapping, and baiting it out, but that hasn't worked either.
