CUC for a 75g reef

MY tank has been cycled, and I have 5 peppermints in it due to an aiptasia/majano problem. I've got a hairline algae and of course a cyano problem. The tank is on a 3-4 day lights out period and I'm about to run gfo pellets since I don't have a reactor.

I plan on getting a clean up crew form reefcleaners.org, and am wondering what to get and how many to get. I'd like to customize it, instead of getting the quick crew options. Any input on what to get/ how many to get?

Thanks!

I think buying maybe 8-10 different snails from your LFS might be a better option. See how they do for awhile and add more if needed. (turbo, nerite, trochus, astrea, margarita, nassarius, cerith) There's no point in adding a large CUC right off the bat only to watch your tank balance out the population for you. The cyno/hair algae will most likely go away with time, assuming your water source is decent and your not overfeeding/overstocking.

Thanks for the input cloak! I'll stop by the lfs saturday and pick some out, they've been very helpful since the start of my tank. I'll keep trusting their opinions.

By the way, I've see Spawn countless times. I still love that movie!

I would not add more than 2 turbo snails in tank that big......2 don't seem like a lot but give it 3 days and look at the difference

I just put 6 Mexian Turbo and a sea hare in my 75G tank and it is starting to look awesome! Good by GHA!
