i am afraid to add a cuc because of the stories i hear about them killing off the tank if they get stressed. anyone with cuc experience out there---?? looking for input before i purchase.
I have a tiger tail. Bout 3 years old. Never had any trouble, but that's just me. Funny seeing the sand he goes through. Comes out nice and white and clean.
Never had any problems with mine. From what I understand, it happens more often with other varities. I could be wrong but mine has been a model citizen.
hmm i had a hermit crab die when i first started my tank and didnt remove it and the other beasts inside my tank ate it within 24 hours so i cant tell if it woulda crashed .
The tiger tail specifically when stressed can release all its organs into the water which can entagle and kill fish and also poison the water. Ive heard sea cucumbers are very toxic when they die more so than regular fish because they release some kind of poison or something.
