Cucumber

I am been trying to read up on cucumbers but I am having difficulties obtaining the answers I need.

In package two I received two sea cucumbers. Both started out doing well, but now I am not so sure. THe have solidified there bodies as cucumbers do, and do not seem to move around much. Additionally I believe they are smaller than they initially were. I have read this may be due to a lack of food, but I believe I am even over feeding my tank. FInally I have seen the cucumbers do what appears to be shedding, a thin white layer was coming off of their bodies.

If any one has any ideas what might be wrong with them ir has dealt with this issue before, any help you can provide would be appreciated.

when stressed cucumbers release white stringy stuff, i think i read its part of their intestines or something coming out - but it doesnt harm them any.

I had to remove one of my cucumbers this morning after about a week in the tank - he turned black and stopped moving.

If a cuke pukes, you will know it. They begin to disintegrate, starting with a little white spot on them, with the spot spreading like white snot.

Otherwise they are ok,as they go though changes after shipping, may shed their skin, not move for a week, ect.

If they do not start to melt, then they are ok.
