i saw these cuddlefish in the georgia aquarium. they are awsome can i get these somewhere? can i keep them in a tank? with other fish?

I have a cuttlefish. You cant keep it with other fish, they are voracious predators. They are very difficult to get a hold of in most parts of the US. Esp., Sepia bandensis (which is what I have), that is the dwaf species that is 4'' full grown. Sepia officinalis is more common (although not common in the trade), but they grow to 16+'' so it makes them more difficult to care for.

I got mine at a LFS, the only the 2nd I have ever seen alive in over 10 years. the site mentioned above is the best place for info about cephs.

Mine was $60, but I understand $100 is more of the going rate, esp here on the east coast. BTW, my cuttlefish died yesterday at a little over 6 months of age. He was full grown when I got him and given their life span is about a year in the wild, I consider my keeping this guy this long a success. His tank now has a mated pair of Bangaii Cardinals that I am going to try to breed.
