Cukes for sand?

I thought these guys were supposed to hang out in the sandbed. Look where mine has been since 9am:

That's ok. It will go down to the sand bed. Mine climb up the glass sometimes too.

Sometimes all day at the top edge of the tank

Just caught the bugger literally trying to squeeze through the slats on the overflow (widened/lengthened for wavebox... he may have gotten halfway through one.) I nudged him down...

I had 3 on the glass Tuesday morning, was thinking maybe something, moon cycle or? got them up out of the sand.

Mine climbed up the side, down the overflow, through the pipes and ended up in my fuge in the basement.

my sifting sand star has been all goofy like that the past few days as well. Hanging out on the top edge of the glass and occaisionally high up on the rockwork... strange.
