Cup coral question

I have had a cup coral for a couple of weeks now. How far do the polyps extend? Mine stay very close to the cup but they are out. Do they need bright light and what do they need to be feed. I will post a pic soon.

Polyp extension looks good. I never spot feed mine and it does great. It usually catches small particles after I feed.

Make sure it has good flow and you can put it up pretty high in the tank.

I don't believe they need bright light but they seem to do just fine under it, mine is covered in polyps, very fuzzy looking and I give it lots of flow, I feed mine mysis and pellets every now and then. They will change shape depending on the flow they get.

Does each polyp need to be feed? Or is it just one animal and all polyps feed a central area? Mine also has a second cup forming on the back is it splitting itself?

I don't feed all the polyps, that'd be impossible I think and yours sound like it's just reproducing.
