We all know Copper/Cupermine and Calcium based rock is a no-no, what about kiln fired clay (aquaroche) artificial reef rock? Reason I ask is that is what is in my QT. I could test the amount of copper, as I know what it should be, however my test kit is 2 years expired and the only store that sells one is closed today. The expired test is showing much lower than what I have added to the QT.

To be safe replace the rock with pvc elbows.
