cuppramine & dechlorinators

Im aware that mixing dechlorinators with cuppramine can make the the copper 10x as toxic but will the dechlorinator i use for make up water affect the copper in the tank. I let the make water sit for at least 24 hrs after adding dechlorinator. Has it decipated by then or will it still affect the cuppramine. And no im curretly no using ro water. Thx

sitting water 24 hrs will suffice without adding dechlorinator

I've never had a problem using prime to dechlorinate, then mix the salt in, and wait a day. I do it all the time on my QT with cupramine.

Thanks Peter. Just the answer was looking for. I also let the water run at least 1-2 days when making saltwater.
