cupramine and a UV light

I have a 120 gallon quarantine system, and the water has been a bit murky of late. I have a UV system hanging around and I was thinking of sticking it in line with the return pump of the system to clear the water. I just ordered some new fish, and I will execute a 4 week cupramine treatment to proactively treat any parasites. Is there any issue with combining the 18W UV light with cupramine? I don't imagine so, but was looking for a bit of input for anyone with experience. also, I've had success with cupramine treatments in the past, but any commentary on this plan would be appreciated.

I believe Cupramine is bonded to something else, to make it less harsh on the fish.

Use of UV could potentially break this bond, and if you do not have enough organics for the copper to bond with, then it will be free copper ion which is 'more' toxic for fish ?
