Cupramine disappeared

I have all of my fish in a quarantine tank. It is bare bottom with only some pvc pieces. I started cupramine 5 days ago and ramped up the drops over a couple of days to get to what should have been .5. I removed carbon, but left in the fiber fill from Michael's that I was using for filter on the hob filter. Today I tested with the Seachem kit and basically it didn't show any copper. I tested the reference fluid and it looked to be right on .5 I decided to do a water change and add the cupramine to the new water before adding it in. It tested good. I tested the qt after adding the new water and it looked to have a faint blue like I would expect based on the amount I just added. I removed the fiber fill yesterday because I thought it might be absorbing the cupramine. Is that possible? Any other reason why I wouldn't see any copper after 5 days ina bare tank?

IMO, something absorbed it, probably the fiber fill. This is the reason I do not run cooper. Anyway, I would run carbon to get the cooper out and if you are determined to use cooper start over and taking out the fiber fill.
