Cupramine removal

About two months ago I was using Cupramine in my QT. I've since have been running the standard carbon filter back on it. 12g Eclipse with 1/2 mixed bed and a couple of small chunks of LR. I've seen a few pods running around the other night.. I'm needing to re-do my mantis tank and was needing to use the QT as temporary housing. Will carbon remove ALL traces of copper? From the LR and sandbed too? I can simply dump the contents and use fresh SW and some other cycled LR and sand. Just hate to throw it away.

It should, but if you want to be extra safe, Seachem makes a product called Cuprisorb. I might be slightly concerned about the sand and LR containing copper it absorbed, but I am unsure what you could do about that.

I have reused live rock and sand in my nano with no problems I used cuprisorb and tested weekly and recharged cuprisorb when need after 4 months no issues have mushrooms star polyps zoas and a huge chalice no issues. And I no longer use cuprisorb or carbon.
