Hey guys,
I have a QT setup that is cycled and need to start treating for Cryptocaryon irritans. I see that after you ease into the copper dosage and end treatment you use carbon to remove it from the water. My power filters on the QT have some carbon in the filter media. Should I just get straight filter floss media and wait for it to seed? Or will the amount of GAC in the media not effect treatment?

If I remove the carbon, I assume I will have to do many water changes to remove ammonia, which will deplete the concentration of copper.
