Cupramine with toby puffer and potters angelfish

I just picked up a blue spot toby puffer and a potters angelfish. They are in a QT together and showing signs of ich. I know angels are sensitive to copper and did not want to start treatment without asking for some advice. Is it safe to treat these fish with cupramine? I will be traveling a few days this week and cannot have my wife do the tank transfers for me, but she can test for copper and add per my instructions if needed. Does anyone have any experience with either of these fish and copper? The potters angelfish came from LA and they told me copper is ok for this angelfish... any help is really appreciated

I would use CP instead of copper, especially if no one is available to test copper levels twice a day and redoes if required.

My wife will be here and able to test 2x per day, my concern was are those fish to delicate to copper? I've never used CP but have read alot about it. Any source of cp recommended the most, NLS ich shield powder is locally available. Is it true not to use lights for the treatment period?

Yes, puffers are scaleless and sensitive to copper. i wouldn't use copper on a dwarf angel either. I would do tank transfer or chloroquine phosphate.

CP is believed to break down in light. I would stick to ambient light or just turn the light on to feed or as needed.
