Cuprimine can I skip the 48hr and raise to .5 all at once?

The instructions on cuprimine says to set th cuprimine first dosage at .25 and than wait 48hrs and redose and it should be .5. So I am wondering can I skip the 48hrs and raise it to .5 right away or would there be a really bad affect on the fish?

keep in mind it is effective at .25 so i would wait the 48 hrs so the fish can tollorate the coppper i would want to blast them right away with it

Why would you want to ignore the mfg instuctions? Cupramine doesn't kill ich on the fish at any rate.
