Has anyone on had any luck with the Cuprisorb product, if so what were you able to have in your tank after treatment? (I really want to have my reef back), what were you able to keep afterward and how long did it take to get it back to "normal"?

Polyfilter materials, like Cuprisorb, can help remove copper from the water column. However, there is no magic bullet that will make a tank safe that has been treated with a copper based medication as the copper is adsorbed onto the rock and sand surfaces. Once bonded in this manner it may leach back into the water column in the area where corals and other creatures dwell and cause death. The process can take some time.

The best solution to this type of problem is to NEVER EVER add medications to your display tank.

I had a reading of .05 copper in my reef aquarium which has successfully been removed using cuprisorb and kent marine
reef carbon. I am a believer, and my aquarium is proof that it works!
