Cured Live rock

I just received a shipment 40lbs.of Premium Aquatics "cured" fiji live rock and I am wondering if the "cured" rock needs additional time to cure in the tank or can I begin to slowly add creatures

Hi Mike,

When the rock leaves our facility it is 100% fully cured. However, due to shipping you will get a small amount of dieoff.

A lot will depend on your system. If this is a brand new tank you are going to have a cycle no matter what. We have had customer's see a large regular cycle, and some that hardly see anything at all. If this is an established tank with fairly good water volume, then you shouldn't see much of anything, maybe a little bit of nitrate, that would be it.
