I was looking at the Aqua Maxx Tonga Rock for a new tank. The site says it needs to be cured since it may have dead things on it. How do I do this and how long does it take?
Dry rock typically has significantly less die off, so the process is often quicker. Tonga branch has very minimal organics on the rock, so adding bacterial supplements, such as Brightwell Microbacter7 would be helpful to ‘seed’ the rock.
