i just resealed a 125rr sunday nite with ge 1 silicone how long should i give it to set before i try to fill it with water to check it for leaks tube says 48 hrs or should i give it longer to set?
IMO. Silicon cures faster in high humidity, adding a bowl of H2O to the tank will help speed upcuring time. 48 hours is for a thin layer 1/8 inch. So if you wait for 72 hours you should be good to go.
