curious about a fish

what kind of fish is this? i dont have a picture.. i've seen it in alot of high end aquariums mainly. its a yellow tang but the fins and tail are odd shaped

It's going to be very hard to tell without a picture man.. You may want to see if you can find a pic online and post it and I'm sure someone here will be able to give you the right answer.

yea ive seen them very rarely but some guy had them in a tank schooling ha.. cant find a picture anywhere it seems

If it is all yellow it could be a juvie OS, an atlantic blue juvie, or a juvie mimic tang. Some of the bristletooths are yellow as juvies as well.

ill have to find it cause its weird. it looks exactly like a yellow tang but the tail is just different. its got a curved tail at the bottom. but it doesnt have the top half of the tail.. ill find it again some day. some guy had them schooling in his tank with other tangs though mostly blue tangs
