My first guess would be A. elseyi or A. horrida, can't really tell if the growth form is Arborescent (like a stag) or Hispidose (bottlebrush like). If you could measure the branch size and take another picture a little closer of a branch I might be able to get a better idea.
Ill have to get another pic later, in the meantime here is a pic when I first got the frag.
The branches are up to an inch long but some curl downward as well as other strange directions. It encrusts heavily on the base. As you can see in the old picture the growth has not gone upward much.
