Current Fission Skimmer/Film on Top of Water

My tank is doing good and since i am going to be adding some more like stock (crabs and snails) i had a couple questions.

Anyone have the Fission and like it... Anyone have one or know where i can get one in NJ?

There is constantly a film on top of the water and i have a powerhead blowing constantly and a surface skimmer. I am hoping that the skimmer will help to eliminate the film on top of the water or if you guys could give me suggestions on breaking it up for gas exchange?

I have 2 Current Fission Skimmers. Trop in ocean had them, but call and ask if they are in stock. They work, but are very dependant on tank water levels and a VERY small collection cup. I have mine mounted in the front of 12 gal Aqua pods so I can tweek them. Micro Bubble factorys! I plan on mounting them in the back compartment 2 as instructed but I will have to drill a drain hole and I am just not ready yet.

isn't that film a flow problem?...i understand that it is protein but i maybe your not turning over enough water...
