Is there any one on the island using he current marine pro light single or duels I like that I can get a 72 in light but I'm worried that it's not a great fixture I'm going to do a mixed reef

I really need some feedback on this light

Thanks
Eric

I don't use these lights, but wanted to see if I could help out anyway.
Do you currently own this light? Or are you thinking of buying it?
Have you looked into other options, or do you have your heart set on this because of your 6' tank?

I have more questions, but I don't want to overwhelm you with too many.

Hey reef junkie
I do not have this light I was thinking about getting it cause I want a 5 or six foot light . Im going from a Hamilton Cebu 6 mh light to something else part of me wants to go to a ati 60 in t5 but who wants to deal with bulbs . Current has been around for ever and they say the duel fixture can do sps

I any one wants my old fixture I'll trade for something I can use

the dual 72 pro will work fine for a mixed reef
also 2 new current with pumps connected to the controller will work as well with plenty of cool features

I've had many Hamilton lights in the past, but I moved over to LED about 3 years ago. I used MH more than anything else before this.Though I've never seen an LED give quite nearly the intensity of a MH.
On the flip side, my corals grow just as fast and are super vibrant using LED.
I have a 24" x 24" x 48" tank.
I no longer deal with heat issues or super high electrical bills. Not to mention the cost of replacing bulbs.
