My friend has one, and all it collects is water that looks like pee. It also POURS microbubbles into the tank, and the prefilter where the water comes out you have to replace like every week or the thing doesnt work at all. It is better to not even have a skimmer compared to this skimmer

Same experience here. Bought one. Tried it and returned it. Save your money!
