Beware! Don't buy this piece of junk. I have not personally used it myself but 99.9% of people in the reefing world (nano people) say all it does is produce bubbles. Its really not worth a penny. There are other posts here in the nano section I believe that talk about this skimmer. There are others out there (I dont remember the names) that are better and will do the job. sophia is right , i just asked the question and i got the same answer that it is a piece of $*@% and it just produces bubles

i had one for a few weeks......lots of microbubbles, makes the water look dirty.
The collection cup fills up really quick, but is just water, didnt really seem to foam that much, then again, my system is new, so that maybe why.

i know the $30 (including shipping) price tag looks good... but "you get what you pay for": a pathetic power head, and poor skimmer design. The best thing that comes out of that skimmer is urine colored yellow water. The only cool thing was watching the air tornado it creates in the chamber. I wouldnt use it to prop a door open, DONT BUY IT!!
