Hi,
I had a clownfish, in my 12g nano. When i put it in the tank it seemed fine, but the next day. I noticed a white slime on its fin. He just stayed at the bottom in one spot. I had no fish in the inspect clean up crew, and some softies. He died about 3 days after i got him. Its been about 2weeks since my clown died. I been thinking about getting a cleaner shrimp and try another fish. But, is it to soon?

Sounds more like Brooklynella

I would what a few more weeks on the fish, you can add the rest

Yea, from what your discribing, your clownfish had Brooklynella. Something I would do before you got any more fish would set up a qt tank so you can prevent fish from entering diseases.
