things are starting to clear up from the dust storm, tank is cycling good and no loses of any live stock. here is some more frags tat made it to my tank.<BR>

not realy just trying to fight micro bubbles that are coming from the drain line going into my sump. i think i got it licked. all my frags that i got are doing awsome! all the zoas are starting to spread already and are expanding very well. heres proof. look at the zoas in the lower right under the 6 line. they were only covering like 1/2 the frag disk.<BR>

now this is a newer pic of them. you cant even see the frag disk<BR>

tank is cloudy well not realy but i have crap floating around the tank. i went back to my normal feeding(2ce aweek) again to help get all the stuff out of the water. plus i hooked up some ozone that i just got to also help clear things up. got a heck of a deal on that!
my coral beuty and dori are doing a good job cleaning the sand and the rocks, hardly any crapy brown stuff left on it.
well here is the sad news. just to let you know i did my very best but i lost one of my new fish. Nessy will be missed
Nessy didnt want to eat. i tryed food with garlic and i tryed to put garlic x-treem in with some food, still nothing. so after 2 1/2 weeks she has passed.

Hey customcolor, Sorry to hear about your loss I know you did all you could and it most likely had some hidden problem that ultimately caused it's demise.
Everything else is looking great, you have done an excellent job and you will undoubtedly keep up the good work.
Oh yea, micro bubbles sure are a pain!!!! :lol:

its ben a wile since i put any thing up and may be even longer after this post. my wife is now on bed rest till our 2nd little girl is born, due in early jan. now i have to pay ALL the bills so no money left over for more coral, unless they are for $5. i was lucky and got a sweet deal on a turbo floater skimmer, granted it had some cracks and one hole, but they where on the outputs of the skimmer and a 3/4" pvc cut in half and weld on 16 fixed it. <br>HEY IT WAS ONLY $40 STILL CANT BEAT THAT!<br>

well all the corals are looking nice and full. the spagetii is droping a branch or 2 to spread, the zoa's are spreading from there frag rocks to other frag rocks i put next to them , had a few loose mushrooms float around the tank(got them pinned on a rock now). now the only thing i need to do is get a hermit like your big guy again to take care of that hair algee.
well off to a wedding today, my daughter is one of the flower girls and on mon. my wife and i are going to the hospital at 5:30 am to let our daughter see the light of day
my wife and i are so happy because its ben rough the past few months. pics will be posted of my new adition im going to be a nother proud father again!

its ben almost 4 weeks since my last post. alot has happened this past month. the biggest thing is the birth of my 2nd daughter Sierra Marie Vissers<BR>

she is doing well and my wife is so hapy she is here and home. christmas was even better this year, even though we didnt give many presants to any one but our first daughter, Abby. we had two comments about Sierra, "she looks like a doll" and "she is so quiet" yes we are blessed with another quiet baby!!(till hungry )
adjusting to haveing a baby again in the house is hard. seep is the hardest thing in the world to get. im up till almost 1 ever morning so my wife can sleep. its fun to see a new life make new sounds out all ends! lol!
even though its be hard adjusting i have ben able to do more workon the stand and making new plans for expanding filtration and water vol down in the basement. .
first the stand: thanks to my mother inlaw and her hubby darwin i got a $100 lowes gift card which i spent all on tile and stuff to put it on the shelfs of the stand.<BR>
slate tile. i used 24 square ft for the stand.<BR>
<BR>
that was to dull looking so i used some poly and gave it 2 coats of satin. now it brings out the colors!<BR>
<BR>
used thinset and laid slate tile.<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
next day grout<BR>

its ben busy with her in the house so i havent ben updating much so here is a little one for all you.
i desided to jazz up the stand alittle with some decoration wood work.<BR>

lots of people have had no luck with this coral i picked up and some people think its one hard one to keep but its worth a try. i now am a prooud owner of a green flower pot. i love how it sways in the low flow area!!!
i moved it since this pic so it wouldnt be scraping against any rock and its now off the sand so dont pm me warning me about brown slime chances please.<BR>
and i have this monster in my tank now too. it is around 8" both the clown i got with it and the one that was in my tank are now hosting it. i think they will turn into a mating pair. what do u think?<BR>

and at our meeting i did a demo on foam with diy live rock so i will opst pics and the short vid i have of it soon too. heck i may do a new forum on it who knows?
