Custom Quarantaine Tank

Hi Guys,
I want to custom build a 71x51x31cm quarantaine tank for my big tank. Now I need to give my builder instructions on how to customize it... what to you reccommend?

Add a external hang on filter and put a skimmer and heating inside the tank or should I tell him to make a little filter part at the end of the long side of the tank of about 10cm depth? Sort of a filter sump in the tank... where I can put in filters, heaters and skimmer?

Little filter part at the end would look better, than having the hob filter(imo).

you could add some length space, and use black acrylic with teeth cut in it as a divider/barrier from the "sump" even though it would be in the same tank.

Hi, thanks, thats what i ment and what kind of filter would you add to this?
Or would you devide the sunp like a real sump just a mini version?

a mini skimmer for 50$ would be your best option(http:///www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=21416&rel=1) but unless you have fish in the QT tank often, it wouldn't need to be running constantly. you also could try putting in small filter socks or maybe a 3 stage filter.

the quarantaine will be only for corals. no fish.
sump System below is not possible for this tank.

If the system is only for coral, a skimmer is not needed, just use a biological filter by putting in a block of marine pure, and if you really want a real filter just a cheap HOB bio wheel filter on amazon will be fine.
