Thanks for the info about the Ronco controller. I will try to get a manual from them. I am glad that I am not totally out of luck.

If you can't find a manual I have one you can borrow or possibly I could scan it to .pdf and e-mail it to you Monday.

I just ordered a new temp probe so hopefully in a couple of days I will know the fate of my controller. I think that it is off by at least a degree and so is kicking on way before I want it to.
