I'm looking for a custom tank maker in the Sacramento area.

Anyone know of someone who can do either acrylic or glass? For this project, I prefer glass.

Please point me in their direction!

Thanks,

Nick

Keith just delivered my tank (150g 3 sides starphire with external overflow) last Sunday. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will show you a few pictures.

yeah, post up some pix! We'd love to see his latest and greatest.

Why limit yourself to the Sac area?

What size are you wanting built? If you want a large tank, its probably in your best interest to seek out the most experienced, not the most local.

Leemar, Visio and Envision are a few off the top of my head that are within driving distance and have been used by locals with great success.

I believe Keith has been making tanks for a decade or two now - I've been impressed with everything I've seen - that he made.

I would have to agree. There are soo many other options.

This is for a little pet project I don't want to spend too much money on.

I've gone with LeeMar in the past. In the mean time, I've contacted AGE and Miracles in Glass for quotes on my prospective monster tank. :)

One positive about working with a local builder is the chance to provide input as the process unfolds. If you tell somebody 2 time zones away how you want something, it doesn't always arrive the way you envisioned it. Plus, shipping costs are insane!

that is actually a glass drill press with suction cup, I found it works better than the tripods types, you can get it into tighter spaces.
