Custom Tank

I am currently trying to get quotes for a custom tank I am hoping to have built if I end up being able to set up a tank once I move to a new place. I have only had one quote so far from a place that seems to do excellent work, and has many options as far as making it very custom, but the price was steep.

That being said, for those of you that had your tank custom built, what company built your tank, how did you customize it, what size is it (dimensions, or gallons), and if posting such information is not a problem, how much did it set you back?

By the way, I am focused on glass aquariums. If the place that built your tank has a website, it would be great if it could be included in the post.

I have a 250g 72x30x27 from Envision Acrylics. It's fully eurobraced, made from 1" acrylic, and has the overflow built into one end (a peninsula tank). I hesitate to say what I paid for it, since the cost is highly dependent on the current prices of the acrylic sheets, which do fluctuate. I will say that the tank, crate, and freight costs added up to over $2k for mine.

40 g 20x25x19 w/ built in overflow - starphire viewing panes less than $400

very resonable prices, lots of options, very friendly to work with.

I got a quote from OI for a ~39g cube recently, only one panel Starphire, and the quote was $555 :(

Did you customize as far as drilling, bracing, overflow material, et cetera?

i didnt get it drilled, but they will drill for $15 a hole which isnt too bad. I got brushed steel trim bracing and a signature glass overflow back wall.

i was originally going to get a 101 gal cube and it was going to be around 800 bucks. I personally dont think that $555 is a terrible price. was that including starphire/closed loop drilling/etc?
