I have one of those older CustomSeaLife Metal Halide 24 inch long units that you can place on a tank or hang. For years it has been on a 85 Hex just sitting on the glass, but I am going to change that from a fish tank to a frog tank. I have always loved dart frogs, and a tall tank like this is perfect for these frogs. Plus it was a huge pain to clean that thing as a fish tank!

Anyways, I am looking for the Hanging hardware that is made for this light unit. There are 4 holes on the top of this where you can screw in the hanging hardware, but with the company long gone I can not find the stuff anywhere yet.

I understand that I could make something to do this, but I am very interested in the hardware that is made for it.

But I am also interested in being able to easily adjust the elevation of the light, so a pulley type system would be needed, and if anyone has suggestions on how to do that, then a DIY setup would be more important then the manufacturers hardware to me at that point.

I just have to get stuff to hang the light first, I dont want to enclose the tank because of mold so I cant use the top the light was resting on.

Just a bunch of fish??? You don't sound like a very dedicated hobbyist!

Well everyone has their own thing. Looks like along with my saltfish, coral, fresh fish and plants, I will have frogs too.

now I just have to find whos thing is light hanging hardware =P

A bunch of fish...... Thanks Tracy. Yes we do have dart frogs. They are a lot easier than a reef tank and my wife loves them. Anthony (haj) will be your best source for purchasing frogs, I think he has a source. If not I can get you in touch with the people we got ours from.

As for the light hanging hardware, I have the same fixture and don't use the cable and mounting hardware. I think I still have it laying around, I will check tonight. The cable are adjustable at the mounting screws.
