cutting anemone???

has anyone here ever cut an rbta? I relaly love my anemone, but its starting to get toooo big. I've got a frag tank set up on the side with nothing in it for now so I'd be able to keep it in there for the week or so that it needs to heal. just wondering if anyone here could give me advice or even come over and help! I think it would be a cool thing to do. plus then i'll be able to keep 1 and trade 1. also if anyone would want to come watch just for the experience that would be cool.

I've never done it but know someone who has and I know they use a very sterile environment to do it. This person is cutting them and pairing them with clownfish and hopes to eventually begin selling the "mated pairs" to LFS's. The one time we talked about it he mentioned that it isn't the easiest thing to do. Infections set in rapidly.

BTW: Are we still on for tomorrow night?

I've heard of it but for a expensive RBTA i would not risk it. It will probably split fairly soon if its big, mine just did it on its own...

tried it once and lost the BTA....this was with a new razer blade as well... must of been an infection i guess.

Now i just let them split naturally , just feed then and they will spil
