cycle new tank????????

Just started cycling my tank its been running about 8 days now,my question is do i have to do a water change and at what point in my cycle.....

You should be testing regularly. You should see a spike in ammonia, nitrite and lastly nitrate. I'd say some time after your cycle is complete (after your nitrates spike)

Do a water change at the end of the cycle. your ammonia and nitrite should be zero.

Do a water change after the cycle. If you plan to grow nitrate-reducing bacteria as well, then do a water change then. It's always good to bring in new water at the end of it. And really any time except during the cycle.
