Cycle

It's been so long since I've had to start a tank and while I know the tank needs to cycle, I forgot when I can or should start water changes. My new 40 gal has begun to cycle, Ammonia is up and Nitrites are very high, nitrates up, but not so much. Do I start with water changes (10%) or do I let the process continue until there is no more ammonia and nitrite and only high levels of Nitrate?

Yes let the cycle continue and when ammonia and nitrite are 0 then do water changes to get your nitrates down. :beer:
