Cycled and yet not algae growing...

I have cycled about few days ago, and I am surprised why I am not having any algae ... The tank is about 25 days old.

Parametres:
Amomnia : 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0.1
Phos: 0.2
Alk: 4
Temp: 26

Can someone help me .

I accually recently finished my cycle on my upgrade and have not had an algae outbreak yet ether. A little worried the cycle may not be finished even though params have been perfect for a couple weeks now. I even have some frags I took from my current tank and they seem to be doing fine in there. I do have some macros growing in the fuge, so maybe they are helping. Or maybe a algae outbreak does not always happen?

That is why I am asking. The lights were off during the cycling process, and now I have some lights on,but few because I will increase the lightning by time.

I have put some turbos in and they seem to be doing great. I am worried because I am not seeing any cyano or hair algae growing, we all know that when an aquarium is cycled or finished the cycle some type of algae will start growing,

My question is does this happens always ?

mine was with cured LR and LS....lights VHO's on for 8 hours....and MH's were on for 2 hours every other day. I do have an urchin in there that maybe mowing it down ;-)

How many days have your lights been on? Usually you'll get a brown diatom bloom before anything else...any such "luck" there yet? It'll take a couple weeks of lighting probably to show up.

I had cycled with some uncured LR and BaseRock. As sand I have 75% dead and 25% Live Sand. I have put on some lights this week,and I will add more lights along these next 2 months.

Is it good to do not have any algae blooms, and in our case why this thing happens ?

Integlikewhoa, you are right but I am worried about this because normally algae grows along the cycle especially when it has finished.

It is better to do not have though.lol but I wish to know why this happens ?

I didnt have any algae for quit some time. And got lucky i havent had the hair or red, or any other real bad ones yet. 10 month into it.

after the lights are on for a week or so, you'll get a massive brown algea hit, which will last a week or so
