Cycled?

I have no Ammonia test but i have all the other tests... Nitrites = 0.1 nitrates = 4 mg/l and dkh = 4.6 ummm is this enough to assume that my tank is cycled... its been running for a week now with cycled water and liverock from another established tank... I have diatoms and hair algea... ne suggestions?

if your tests are accurate, then no...you still have nitrite (tho very little, but still there nonetheless)

next...water doesnt "cycle"....the bacteria on the rock does. So using "cycled" water isnt gonna get you much at all (other than water probably low in calcium if you had it w/other corals before this tank)

The only way to know is if you test your amonia w/GOOD tests.
