Cycling Bio Balls

I just added bio balls to my refuge. Just wondering how long it will take to cycle the bio balls without adding any start-up treatment? My main tank has been set up for many years.:rollface:

Why are you adding bioballs? It sounds like you have a thriving tank so why add a bunch of "Wiffle Balls". There is no cycle involved as they will colonize with bacteria already acclimated to you tank but I'd tend to skip that addition.

didnt you just post this like 3 days ago? If not...like waterkeeper said...why? They're gonna do more harm than good since your tank is already established an running...
