how long to cycle with 10gal tank with 20lbs lr 1-inch sand bed and a/c 110 hob filter?

Depends on your LR's quality really. Is it cured? If so how long might it been out of water? Is that Live sand?
Uncured, about 5-8 weeks if your curing in your tank.
Cured, anywhere from 2-5 weeks. There are so many variables with that question. Just start the cycle and test the tank every week until your readings show zero.

As stated it really depends on the rock and live sand.
I just set up a new nano using rock that was cured in a bucket for a couple of months. Took a month to get undetectable ammonia/nitrite in the bucket. I moved it to the tank two days ago. Just the act of sorting,moving, and arranging the rock caused a small ammonia spike (<.25 ). In 48 hours ammonia and nitrite are undetectable.
As pointed out testing is the only way to know.
