Cyclone BakPak Filter/Skimmer

Does anyone use one of these? Thinking of buying for my 30gallon
reef. Would like some input/experiences.

I had a aqua c ramora on my 29g it was pretty good I moved it to the sump tho cause I didn't seeing the pump in the background..

I just looked these up and it seems that they make versions for both fish only and for reef tanks. The bak pak 2 says it is for fish only and the 2r is for reefs. The only difference I can see in pics is biobail is used in the 2 and not in the 2r. So if it is just the 2 then probably remove the biobail and it should be just like the 2r. CPR is known for good products. I do think however this design is starting to get a little dated but it is said to work. I guess this is one of those if it aint broke why fix it kind of designs.

PROS:
New and improved models are continually released.
Combination protein skimmers and biological filters.
Simple "plug and play" installation.
Cons:
Require regular maintenance for max performance.
May produce excess bubbles in return flow.
More expensive than most other skimmers.
