Cyclop-eez question

Some will say no, others say yes. I've known a few people who raised several small clams only with cyclopeeze and 0 fatalities. I've had a baby maxima growing well with just cyclopeeze. I recently started adding DT's but for my pods in refugium.

When you feed the clam with Cyclop-eez, do you squeeze it inside the clam's mouth or just let it float around?

The particle size of the cyclopeeze is too big. However, the "juice" or other small pieces of stuff might be the correct size.

Also, I think that I read somewhere that clams perfer veggie fare and not meat.

No offense to anyone here but if you "think you heard" of something from somewhere but not sure where, why even post it? At least search or do research as this is how false rumors begin to pass around and they pass fast.

Forgive my figure of speech. Clams are phytoplantonic eaters benefititng from unicellular green algae.

Thanks for asking before you flamed. At least do research as to the meaning of the post as this is how false judgements begin to pass around and they pass fast.

Deb,

Big opening is where water goes in, little is where it goes out. The hole should not be gapping. If it is, that is a sign of stress.
