I have a mixed Reef with mushrooms, leathers, LPS, SPS, etc. I added a nice Cynarina a few months ago and it goes through periods of not opening. Color is good and I have it in low current on the substrate under T-5. I've moved it a couple of times and waited. Can't seem to find a good spot. Any ideas?

Well, concerning my fish I have an active tank. Wrasses and Tangs basically.
There's really no place to put this coral that's not in high traffic. With such a high bio-load its a tough job controlling nitrates and phosphates. I've had a higher level than I like which could be the issue. I have a wide variety of corals and this one is more sensative than I realized. Its purported to be very easy, but I find this not true. So I've given up. Back it went to my friend's LFS. He'll nurse it back to health...possibly and sell it again one day. Me, maybe I can get some store credit. This a first for me.
