Cynarina Skeleton Falling Apart

Okay, so we've had this cynarina for a few years now. He's always been a happy little guy. A little less than two weeks ago, he started pouting. The past week, he's become quite deflated. A few days ago, his tissue started receding. Today, I noticed that in two areas, parts of his skeleton have actually been "pushed out", and are falling off, with the tissue trying to hold on to it as the chunks of skeleton fall off. The coral hasn't been dropped, or had anything drop onto it. Is there some sort of weird pest out there that crumbles up the inside of LPS skeletons and pushes them out? What's going on? All our other corals (NPS, LPS, SPS, softies) are doing fine.
